The Recruiting Enablement (RE) team helps drive our Recruiting team to find the best talent while providing the best possible candidate experience. As we continue groundbreaking working as a distributed company, it is important we have a Recruiting SPA Manager for the RE Team to lead strategy such as headcount and capacity planning, developing strategies and roadmaps, facilitating quarterly business reviews, etc. This role will actively work with our People Analytics Team to collect analytics & trends to make data-driven decisions for the Recruiting organization.

About the role

As the Recruiting Strategy Planning & Analytics (SPA) Manager, you will be a “jack-of-all trades” across key activities. This includes vendor relationship management, quarterly business review management, headcount & capacity planning, analytics support & visualization, planning and prioritization work. Our team and company is “upgrading” how to build, operationalize and drive standard methodologies for scalable and sustainable processes and programs in both Recruiting and across the People Org. This role helps drive the Zillow narrative by working with our People & Recruiting leaders to understand their goals and translate that into proactive, RE activities and displays them on a roadmap. Your role will be versatile and you get to work across different teams and various levels of ICs and Leaders to complete the work.

As the SPA Manager, you are excited to build structure, new strategies, and bring new processes to life and help our Recruiting Org to elevate to the next level of excellence. You will work alongside (senior) leaders and your RE & PMO team members across the Recruiting Org and other People teams to build and lead strategic relationships and “connecting the dots” across the different workstreams. You work closely with your manager, their leader and the Recruiting Strategic Initiatives Director to lead and support creating OKRs / goals and building a multi-year roadmap. This role will also be responsible for new key activities to help leaders and/or build new structures / processes to help drive business decisions.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

In Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City the standard base pay range for this role is $96,300.00 – $153,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada and New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Qualifications

• Very knowledgeable in the areas of SP&A and preferably in Recruiting / Human Capital Consulting / HR
• Has experience in vendor / third-party contract management
• Experience working with Procurement, People Analytics, and potential background in Management Consulting is a plus
• Very comfortable in G-Suite, Asana, and other project and program tools, and familiar or comfortable learning all Recruiting tools and systems to support the team
• Comfortable managing and visualizing data sets using Excel / Google Sheets; dashboards; and Tableau and excellent with building logical and appealing slide decks for various audiences
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to dive into the weeds to educate and support leaders
• Willingness to learn new tools, processes, jump into new areas and do research is a must
• You’ve been a leader through scale from midsize to an enterprise and have crafted and implemented recruiting programs
