About the role:
As we continue to expand, our Talent Acquisition team is looking to hire an experienced Lead Recruiter to take ownership and drive the recruitment process moving forward. You will be working closely with hiring managers to source for exceptional talent and bringing in innovative ways to shape the recruitment process. You will work closely with team members across the company on a day-to-day basis to consistently identify and attract the best top talent for Zilch!
Our current teams include Data, Engineering, IT Ops, Finance, Product, Operations, Marketing, Customer Success and Compliance. We are growing and expanding the team globally so we’re looking for a Lead to drive the entire process from top to bottom, all while working together with hiring managers to improve the way we process and do things!
We expect you to be great in stakeholder management, talent strategy, communication (both written and verbal), and setting your days up for success.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Take full ownership of the Talent Acquisition process from end-to-end. This includes sourcing, screening, and closing.
- Co-ordinate and work closely with hiring managers across departments to identify staffing needs and determine the selection criteria.
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that would reflect the requirements for each position.
- Train hiring managers on candidate interview evaluation techniques and foster long-term relationships with all candidates whether past or present.
- Review and update job descriptions where necessary and monitor key recruitment metrics such as turnover and retention rates.
- Act as first point of contact for hiring managers, agencies, and other HR team members.
- Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback and identify areas Zilch may need for continuous growth and improvement.
- Leverage and test multiple recruiting solutions to better understand which site(s) are best suited to source from.
- Define, design, and negotiate with agencies to speed up the recruitment process.
- Understand HR-related regulations and compliance procedures and ensure all applications vetting requirements are met.
- Other duties that may be assigned by management.
Key requirements:
- 5 – 7 years of recruitment experience (mainly in-house preferred).
- Extensive experience hiring within a fast-growing company (fintech would be a plus).
- Able to source, screen, interview, sell, and close top talent (full end to end process).
- Experience using an ATS (Greenhouse, Workable, etc).
- Have worked closely with agencies when requiring additional support.
- You have the ability to inspire and motivate people to join Zilch.
- You are comfortable and can own relationships with hiring managers, hiring teams, along with advising, influencing, and challenging teams when needed.
- You have a flexible mindset and the ability to adapt to change easily.
- You have the desire to learn, constantly.
