Zhou Agency is an integrated financial services firm located in the heart of Chicago on the Magnificent Mile. Our company provides Accounting, Real Estate and Risk Management services to business and investors in Chicago. Currently our accounting department is seeking Junior Accountants to join our collaborative group of young professionals and grow our business. The Junior Accountant will support Staff Accountants with payroll, sales tax, bookkeeping, and other ad-hoc tasks.

Functions and Responsibilities

Payroll

• Issue payroll on a timely and accurate manner
• Submit payroll tax
• File payroll reports
• Assist accountants with payroll related work

Sales Tax

• Prepare state and local sales tax report
• Assist accountant with various sales tax related work

Bookkeeping

• Record transactions such as income and expenses
• Reconcile bank and other records
• Assist accountant with other bookkeeping work

Other ad hoc tasks to support the accounting team

Qualifications

• Associate Degree
• 1+ years US related accounting experience
• Detail-oriented, ability to meet the deadline and excellent time management
• Experiences with QuickBooks Enterprise Payroll, QuickBooks Online
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $30,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
