The Company’s first North American operation is located in Plymouth, Indiana, where we produce fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt, ice cream and bakery manufacturers.

Position Summary:

Provide high level operational financial leadership to the company (consolidated and single entity including the American subsidiaries in two different US states). Operational financial leadership includes the areas of finance, accounting, management reporting, treasury, tax, audit, internal controls, legal, compliance and risk management.

Regularly update CEO on key developments and issues within areas of responsibility. This includes timely escalation and proper actioning of all material and significant financial and legal matters to respective management. Work closely with the CEO, and Executive Team on strategic projects, to implement business strategies as well as to work closely to create and drive transparency and understanding of all financial matters.

Strong ability to effectively communicate, mentor, coach lead and think strategically, analytically, critically, independently, and evaluate how financial processes relate to and drive operational and financial performance respectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

Compliance: Develop and Maintain Aris Processes, Guidelines, Directives

• – Ensure that All Established Accounting/Treasury/Financial Processes are Adhered To

Financial Accounting: Monthly Consolidation of Entity Results

• – Support review monthly/quarterly/yearly Financial Results and Identify Areas of Further Investigation
• – Prepare Monthly Management Comments
• – Lead Cost Saving Initiatives

Treasury: Manage Treasury Functions

• – Bank Relations, Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Currency Risk Management, Interest Risk Management

Legal: Review of New Legal Contracts for Compliance

Inventory Management: Monthly Financial Analysis of Inventory, Raw Material and Finished Good Loss

• – Lead Annual Inventory Process

Taxation: Coordinate Annual Federal and State Tax Return Process

Internal / External Audit: Coordinate Internal Control Activities and follow up parent company in Germany

• – Coordinate Annual External Audit with Head of Accounting

Investment and Other Financial: Capital Projects ROI and Business Plan Coordination and Review with FP&A

• – Continuous financial training of non-financial management

Corporate Record Maintenance: Management of Corporate Legal Information for all entities

Formal Education Required:

• Bachelor of Finance or Accounting
• CPA, Master of Business Administration (Preferred)

Specific Experience and Key Knowledge Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the following financial and financial management areas are required:
• Finance (10 years), Accounting (10 years), Management Reporting (10 years), Forecasting (10 years)
• Legal (2 years), Treasury (2 years), Internal Audit (2 years), External Audit (2 years), Tax (2 years).
• Compliance & Risk Management (2 years), M&A (1 year)

Special Skills and Abilities Required:

• Technical: Strong accounting and financial skills at the level of a CPA, MBA
• Analytical: Strong ability to evaluate using accounting and financial skills at the level of a CPA, MBA
• Interpersonal: Strong managerial, leadership and communication skills are needed for this position
