The ideal candidate will likely be fully or part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/AAT), with experience managing group accounts and producing financial reports. Your financial acumen and creative approach to problem-solving will be of huge benefit to your new colleagues and you will build relationships which promote trust, confidence, and respect. It is essential you are a strong user of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel, and be familiar with Sage.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Overall responsibility for Sage 50 for all companies
• Management accounting reports
• Company and departmental budgeting
• Month end reporting
• Bank reconciliations and setting up payment runs

• Maintain accurate monthly reconciliation of UK balance sheet accounts, including all bank accounts, assets and liabilities.
• Managing prepayments and accruals
• Managing cash flow forecasts
• Day to day running of accounts
• All Companies House documentation, and timely submission of information
• Preparing VAT return
• Aged debt management
• To provide ad hoc analysis and assistance to the Finance Director as required.

Skills Required:

• Relevant professional qualifications (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Good communicator at all levels.
• An enthusiasm to get to know the business and become part of the team
• Ideally you will have experience of working within a SME business

Full-time hours: 40 per week

Expected start date: 26/09/2022

Salary: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
