Z-Force Transportation Hiring for Recruiter Job at Chicago, IL Full Time

Z-Force Transportation is a family owned trucking company that has been in business 40+ Years. With terminals now across the country and a fleet of 200+ tractors. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Driver recruiter to help our company continue to grow. As a driver recruiter you will work closely with our HR and Safety team and learn and be responsible for many HR & safety functions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Initiate driver leads by networking, cold-calling prospects, and building relationships as part of a coordinated recruiting strategy.
• Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified drivers by using different lead generation tools
• Be a part of all new hire orientations for our drivers.
• Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
• Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics
• Work closely with the company’s Operations and Safety to ensure proper screening, evaluation and utilization of candidates.
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures, especially in Operations and Safety.
• Conduct background checks for qualified applicants using a variety of sources
• Promote and enforce safety procedures – OSHA, FMCSA, DOT

Qualifications:

· One year of recruiting experience
· Knowledge of the transportation industry
· Excellent verbal communications, ability to sell the company and the opportunity to prospects
· Enthusiastic and charismatic personality, ability to communicate across all levels
· Organized, excellent follow up / follow through skills
· Proficient with Excel, Word, Google Docs, Google Email, internet, etc.
· Knowledge of DOT and FMCSR helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
