About your new role:
As part of your new role, it’s important to note that a degree in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent qualifications is required. Additionally, you’ll need to have demonstrated experience in project management and administration. Advanced negotiation and influencing skills will be necessary to achieve ‘Best for Project’ conclusions, and you’ll also need experience working with multi-functional, nationally dispersed resource groups.
If you’re open to some travel, this position could be an excellent fit for you! As part of the Senior PM and Project Managers team, you’ll play an essential role in absorbing additional work and helping to improve site capabilities.
The position has been evaluated as Professional & Managerial Grade Two (PM2). The remuneration for your new role is from $129,569 plus 12.75% super for a 9-day fortnight and from $146,413 plus 12.75% super for a 10-day fortnight. The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the successful applicant’s knowledge, skills and competencies that are required in this position. Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Energy Queensland Union Collective Agreement 2020.

About you:
As a Project Manager, you should be excited about the opportunity to manage assigned projects from initiation to completion. You will develop and implement an effective project communications plan, establish a meeting program, and communicate critical outcomes through meeting minutes.
Additionally, you will need to be flexible with working arrangements to accommodate regular site visits during all phases of project work for planning, monitoring, control, and ing.
It would be fantastic if you have previous experience in the mining, construction, utilities, or renewable energy industries, as this will be highly regarded.
