Yume Food Australia Hiring for Marketing Coordinator at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Full Time

The Role:

Yume is going through a phase of growth and reaching product-market fit, and we are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help deliver our Marketing Strategy during this next stage in our journey. As the Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for:

• Managing our social networks, particularly Linkedin, writing copy, finding the right images, and measuring results
• Designing and updating collateral as per our Business Development team’s request
• Managing our email communication to existing user base (monthly and weekly newsletters)
• Managing our marketing website (Squarespace platform)
• Liasing with external stakeholders (customers and agencies) and coordinating campaign assets
• Identifying key trade events to attend during the year, applying for speaking opportunities when relevant
• Identifying and applying to industry awards
• Ensuring all our brand touchpoints are up to date and reflect our current service offering

Yume is an exciting new brand, as the Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in increasing brand recognition and finding new and creative ways to help spread the word of our solution.

Core Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated track record in marketing, coupled with the potential and eagerness to learn (A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar Marketing role required, while 2 years in a similar role is highly valued).
• A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication 
• A good understanding of design and willingness to learn is a must (demonstrated proficiency utilising Canva is a must)
• Good understanding of social media dynamics in a B2B context, leveraging platforms to advance business objectives – with an emphasis on Linkedin
• Ability to coordinate campaign assets and manage several stakeholders (Agency, clients, internal clients etc.)
• Comfortable managing our marketing website on Squarespace platform, creating new pages, designing landing pages/forms etc. (experience on squarespace highly regarded)
• Comfortable operating independently within a high-paced environment, displaying agility in managing tasks and adapting to evolving priorities.
• Experience in the B2B space highly regarded
• Basic understanding of diverse digital channels, including Google Ads, SEO, and social media advertising
• Basic Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
• Previous involvement in event coordination within prior roles or extracurricular activities is highly regarded.
