As a Continuing Care Scheduling Clerk, you to the Office Administrator, performing a variety of scheduling and administrative duties related to the management of the continuing care units. This requires the ability to balance competing demands from co-workers in consideration of Continuing Care policies and the Collective Agreement. You’ll be part of a supportive team environment working to create a place the residents call home.

Essential Qualifications:

Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration
Experience providing clerical or administrative support in an office setting.
Current Experience with computer word processing, Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook, email, and other database software.
Experience in Scheduling employee’s, processing and verifying timesheets and leave forms is an asset
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.

Conditions of Employment: TB Screening, RCMP security screening vulnerable sector, and WHMIS 2015
Job Requirements: Interaction with residents and their families, staff and members of the public; possible exposure to animals, second-hand smoke, infectious disease and latex products, plants/flowers; indoor temperatures of approximately 75 degrees Fahrenheit (23 degrees Celsius); rotating shift work, weekends and statutory holidays within a 24/7 per year setting; sitting for long periods in front of a computer, standing, twisting and bending.
