Are you interested and available to support the Yukon’s COVID-19 emerging needs? Yukon Communicable Disease Control (YCDC) unit is looking for individuals to provide a variety of support tasks. These positions are casual six months positions, with full-time work hours as per rotation and will include at least 1 weekend day and stat holidays. Typically, the rotation being followed is Tuesday-Saturday & Sunday-Thursday. Accommodation can be made for a 4 on and 4 off rotation working a 10.40 hour day.
Tasks assigned include but not limited to clinical data collection, retrieval and entry using Panorama, Meditech and other systems and applications as well as data analysis in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets. As part of the active daily monitoring (ADM) activities, the incumbent will interact with the public by phone, focusing on health status and managing self-isolation related to COVID-19 and related communications.

Experience using Microsoft products: Outlook, Excel, PDF and shared program files
Experience in data collection, retrieval, and entry.
Experience in the use of an electronic health system for patient records and/or data entry of clinical services/assessments: such as Panorama, Plexia, IPHIS, or Meditech is an asset

Job Requirements: Ability to lift and carry 25lbs. Since YCDC is considered as a clinical environment, individuals are required to wear medical masks within this workplace.
