Logistics Specialist

Yuasa Battery, Inc., the leading manufacturer, and distributor of power sports batteries located in Laureldale, Pennsylvania is searching for an experienced, Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible planning and coordinating all inbound and outbound freight.

Essential Functions:

• Receive inbound freight for dropship orders.
• Maintain 49 CFR certifications.
• Ship all outbound freight.
• Reconcile receipts.
• Prepare all outbound bills of lading.
• Use the third-party transportation site to ensure the best price for YBIA.
• Communicate as needed with customer service to address, prevent, and reduce issues.
• Communicate as needed with customers to address, prevent, and reduce issues.
• Generate all return shipment requests for product returned to YBI.
• Create all shipping claim s related to YBIA shipments.
• Responsible to train others on 49 CFR.
• Other ing and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.
• Accountability for performance.
• Written and oral communication proficiency.
