What does a Recruiter do at yourtown?

As the Recruiter, you will be part of a team that provides tailored employment-related services to employers with the aim of sourcing employment opportunities for our job seekers. Every day will be diverse but in essence, your day to day will include;

• Proactively network and build strong relationships with clients;
• Maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
• Delivering updates and insights to employers on labour market concepts;
• Partner with employers to identify and understand their needs;
• Know and understand your caseload of job seekers on site so you can job match effectively;
• Work with participants and support them ineffective job-seeking activities;
• Continuously deliver a high-quality service; and
• Achieve individual KPI’s and team goals.

About you

You are passionate about what you do. Your practice is client focussed, our young people are at the heart of it and you genuinely want to make a difference in their lives.

You love meeting different people and enjoy the fact that this role enables you to be out and about and face to face with employers. You understand the importance of building rapport face to face with employers so that you can partner with their business and provide solutions.

A natural solutions finder, you trouble shoot as situations arise and are innovative in your approach. You are acutely business savvy and have a solid understanding of the local labour market coupled with challenges to employment faced my disadvantaged young people.
