Job Description

Your IT Recruiter is looking for a Software Engineer for our client.

This position will be working as Software Engineer for one of its top clients, John Deere, located in Moline, IL. The clients financial division is seeking SAP techno-functional software engineers who can analyze, design, configure and customize SAP solutions.

The positions will be working on solutions for the Billing and Invoice function of the Order Management program.

The individuals will be asked to work with the business to analyze acceptance criteria and perform required functional configuration within Sales & Distribution (SD) and Financial (FI) modules.

Candidates should have extensive experience with Object Oriented-ABAP.

A strong candidate would have recent, hands-on experience implementing customized solutions that adhere to quality standards by implementing object-oriented design principles / patterns and executing engineering practices such as test-driven development, CI / CD (change management, Jenkins, Active Control, etc.) and rigorous refactoring.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications :

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field rom an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience;

or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

• Academic or professional experience using Java, C, C++, C#, Python, or similar programming languages
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Desired skills :
• Working on cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Integration / Test).
• FACE, Data Modelling and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) – Cameo or Rhapsody, SysML, DOORS, ICD / IRD / IDD.
• Design Assurance, System Verification, Integration & Test – test documentation and conduct, troubleshooting hardware / software.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Familiarity or Experience with any of the following : o Data Modeling o SWF / DDE o CPL and UoP development, FACE o Cockpit Avionics, DO-178 o Air Data Computer, AHRS Integration, Civil FMS
