Young’s Seafood Limited Hiring for HR Administrator at Annan Full Time

To provide accurate and timely payroll information to head office for all weekly paid employees. To assist in the development and maintenance of our HR system, trackers and employee files.

Key Accountabilities

Collating and reconciling on a daily/ weekly basis automated time recording system data

Resolve all queries from the above employees.

Prepare KPI data for absenteeism and time reports

To administer starter/ leaver processes including all documentation, induction processes probationary reviews and exit surveys.

To maintain and update electronic and hard copy personnel record systems containing all employment related information including absence, holidays, starters and leavers.

To handle maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and parental leave administration processes and ensure that associated payroll processes are completed.

To prepare, as required, management reports on employee related data to assist with the management and development of staff.

Recruitment

To provide administrator support to the recruitment process.

Liaising with recruitment agencies.

Managing candidate correspondence including invitations to interview.

To produce and issue all offer letters and employee contracts.

To ensure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information provided to payroll and benefits providers for processing.

To undertake all required pre-employment checks

To support the implementation of HR systems or databases and to enter data and maintain these accordingly.

To update and maintain employee e-files.

Absence Management

Record new absences in line with company protocol.

Processing return to work forms and managing and reporting on return to work completion through weekly MI.

To prepare relevant paperwork for disciplinary meetings and monitoring and maintaining employees’ disciplinary records

To update and maintain Occupational health trackers, to manage clinic schedule and invitations.

Other

To maintain confidentiality of information relating to the Company and its employees in accordance with GDPR

Skills and Experience Required

Strong IT skills with a working understanding of Microsoft Office

Excellent organisation skills including the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively

Excellent verbal, written and numeracy skills.

Willingness to cover for team members.
