Well, if so, we have a great opportunity for an internal candidate to take that step and join the Finance Team as an Assistant Accountant.

In this role, you’ll develop in post as well as get the support and training you need to succeed as well as the backing to gain an accounting qualification.

About the role

This is a role where you can develop personally and professionally, and we’ll provide you with the support you need to do that.

Alongside this, you’ll be getting hands-on practical experience. Key to the role will be providing management information to help support decision making processes and helping ensure that our month end and planning processes are delivered to a high standard. That means you’ll work on a range of activities, including, but not limited to;

• Working on the month end management reporting of our income performance

• Helping with our financial planning processes

• Supporting a wide range of ad hoc reporting and financial evaluation activities

About you

You don’t need previous experience in a finance role, but you will need an understanding of finance and its operations/purpose.

Alongside this, you’ll have a great attention to detail and a flair for numbers and analysis. You’ll have a good working knowledge of programmes such as Excel and have experience delivering and analysing reports.

Alongside this, you will be collaborative and be able to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

You’ll be committed to your learning and development, as well a commitment to gaining a professional qualification. You’ll relish a dynamic workload and balancing both your day-to-day work as well as your personal and professional development.
