Education:
A relevant University degree, e.g. computer science, information technology, software engineering or an equivalent of 4 years recent experience (defined as within the last 5 years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined below.
Experience:
2 years of experience in the maintenance and support of enterprise IT systems, including 1 year in a systems analyst capacity. Demonstrated experience in supporting enterprise applications. Hands-on experience in documenting processes and creating process flow. Testing experience including unit testing, functional testing, regression testing and UAT support. Experience in using project and resource management tools such as MS Project and Wrike
Skills:
Experience working with Application programming interfaces and related technologies. Knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP, Java- Experience with Moodle, Salesforce/Dynamics 365, Student Information System (such as Destiny One). Demonstrated expertise in liaising between business and IT in systems development and support. Excellent communications, analytical and problem-solving skills. Skillful in relationship building and time-management. Demonstrated strong technical writing skills to develop thorough, coherent and informative system and process flows and other documentation. Experience in creating process flow, data flow and entity relationship diagrams using a Unified Modelling Language (UML) tool such as Visio. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities.
