YOEC Hiring for 9th/10th Grade Science Teacher Job at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

Our School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher who will help enrich and advance our students’ learning experience. Our ideal candidate is extremely passionate about their subject and has a strong background in the sciences and the ability to bring those topics to life. A successful Science Teacher should be able to work well with adults as well as children and will demonstrate excellence at working cooperatively as part of a larger team.

Responsibilities:

• Teach students the scientific method and how to apply it to experiments and everyday situations.
• Teach students how to read and interpret scientific information.
• Encourage students to work together.
• Provide individualized attention and extra help when appropriate.
• Ensure that students understand how to conduct experiments and record data accurately.
• Ensure that all students understand the material, including those who learn differently than others.
• Be knowledgeable about the content and be able to explain it in a variety of ways.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $2,800.00 – $3,000.00 per month
