About the opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, this role is responsible for providing insightful business and financial analysis that will help inform strategic operational decisions. As the Finance Business Analyst you will:

• Develop informative interpretation and analysis of business drivers to ensure our internal stakeholders are provided with information that assists decision making and resource allocation
• Continue to develop industry knowledge by keeping up with current trends
• Perform analysis of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports of the industry sectors
• Prepare reviews of annual budgets, forecasts and performance variances through an understanding of key business drivers and performance metrics
• Proactively participate in the organisational business planning cycle
• Assist with financial modelling for upcoming business cases and tender responses

This is a permanent full time role with a salary package of $97,000 – $107,000. You’ll work from home and our Box Hill offices 1-2 days a week.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have 3-5 years of similar experience. In addition, you will:

• Have a strategic focus, seeking improvements to achieve team goals
• Be able to positively manage change
• Have an understanding of the business to create a sustainable and competitive organisation
• Be able to work collaboratively with others, while promoting personal accountability to better influence

Mandatory Pre-Requisite Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in accounting
• Studying towards CPA/CA
