Job Title: Business Office Assistant (part-time)
– Offered working hours: 10am-2pm (variable), Monday – Friday

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Business Office Assistant at the YMCA of Douglas County is responsible for portions of accounts payable and for processing payroll. Duties may include creation of daily bank deposits, data entry for accounts payable, time sheet reconciliation, payroll data entry and submittal, as well as other business office functions as time allows and as needs arise. Duties must be performed in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS AT JOB ENTRY (or shortly thereafter , meaning education or training in process at time of hire that will be completed soon): Basic understanding of clerical tasks.
State the Higher Education, Experience, Certification and/or Training required to be hired and that are directly related to the job: Microsoft Office/Google Suite experience preferred.
Education: HS diploma/GED HS diploma/GED
Experience: 2+ years, or entry level with propensity to learn.
