Have you ever thought about doing a job that involves playing and coaching sports like Volleyball or Basketball?

We are looking for someone who wants to and has the capability to do both, and be part of an amazing team at Mount Annan Leisure Centre. You will join a small team of enthusiastic sport fanatics who have a true energy for success and eagerness to support the local community.

About the role:

We are currently seeking coaches for any of the following sports:

• Basketball
• Volleyball

You will be coaching the centre’s Learn to Play team. Part of this role will also involve building a successful partnership with the community/Schools and provide leadership, direction and supervision for all instructors to ensure that lesson plans and expectations are adhered to. Shifts will mainly be in the afternoons from 4pm-7pm Monday to Friday and various hours during the weekends.

Roster:

• Volleyball coaching : Monday & Wednesday 3.45 pm – 7.15 pm.
• Basketball coaching: Thursday and Friday 3.45 pm – 6.15 pm and Saturday 8.15 am – 12.15 pm

What you will come with:

• Relevant sport experience
• First Aid certificates
• Current CPR
• WWCC

What we would like you to come with:

• Experience in leading, developing and delivering programming for school aged children
• Coaching accreditation and or experience

Recreation

Our Recreation Team is a close-knit community of energetic people-people, with a passion for staying active and helping others. From our Duty Managers and Customer Service Officers, to our Instructors and Coordinators, the team are responsible for transforming our 24 Recreation Centres into warm, inclusive and safe spaces – providing access to health, fitness and recreation opportunities for those who need it most.
