Right now, we’re looking for aspiring Lifeguards to join our friendly Y team at Tea Gardens.

We’ll train you up and get you qualified if needed so you can make a difference to your community and your career.

Our Y Lifeguards enjoy keeping a close eye on all our precious community members and often get to know our customers by name.

They’re reliable and vigilant and always ready to jump to action if necessary – we have plenty of heroes we’re super proud of.

But it’s not all reacting to emergencies. Our Lifeguards are great at identifying potential risks – and taking steps to reduce those risks.

Y Lifeguards act as positive role-models, so our communities know what safe water behaviour looks like and feel confident they’re in secure hands.

Many of our Lifeguards have other commitments like study or family or are recently retired but enjoy making a difference in people’s lives. The Y NSW encourages and supports this by offering flexible permanent part-time and casual work.
