Job Description:

REPORTING The Assembler reports directly to the Plant Manager. He/she is responsible for window assembly and any other duties as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

– Assembly of windows and window components

– Packaging of windows and window components

Read Shop, Frame & Parts drawings – Read a Tape Measure – Metric and Standard

– Assembly of main Frame as well as subassemblies

– Operate Hand Tools; Screw Gun, Drills, and tools – Drive screws without breaking them – Quality Check his/her own work

– Work effectively alone or and with others

– Cleaning of assembled frame

– Able to communicate and follow Instructions

– Other general duties as required by the Manager / Supervisor / Lead Hand QUALIFICATIONS:

– Must be able to work in a safe manner with little supervision

– Operate manual or semi-automatic hand tools

– Ability to use a tape measure

– Experience working in a plant/manufacturing environment

– Experience using hand/power tools an asset

– Experience using tape measure an asset

**Must have reliable transportation and be able to work full-time.

Job Details

Weekend shift: Friday to Sunday, 630am-7pm

Day shift: Monday to Thursday 6am-430pm

Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 430pm-230am

Expected start date: 2021-08-09

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent

Salary: $16.00 per hour
