We are looking for a passionate Nursery Manager to join our team in Yeovilton. We are looking for someone who is motivated, caring and a proactive leader who puts the children at the heart of everything they do. You will need to plan, monitor and evaluate the progress of the team and oversee the progress of the children.

The post-holder will ensure that the Nursery is run efficiently and is financially sustainable. We trust that they will provide a safe and secure environment for all children within our care, and they will deliver opportunities for the children to make outstanding progress.

The post-holder will be responsible for maintaining effective relationships with our Nursery parents, carers, pupils, colleagues and other professionals who may visit the setting to provide an outstanding service.

The post-holder will always ensure effective liaison with the owner and nursery leadership team which includes business planning for business growth to meet parental demand.

The post-holder will work closely with all staff members within the setting, demonstrating good practice and delivering an upbeat and positive environment. The safety and welfare of the children will be at the forefront of everything you do and their care and education is paramount to the success of the nursery.

Through reflective observations you will support, monitor and recommend improvements for quality in all working areas.

Academic or trade qualifications:

• You must have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in childcare relevant to the early years sector with ideally 5 years post qualification experience.
• You must be able to demonstrate good knowledge of OFSTED requirements and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Management experience or qualifications are desirable.

Due to the nature of the post, an enhanced DBS check will need to be carried out.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £21,800.00 per year
