The role
Our Financial Analyst is an integral member of the Financial Planning & Performance Division, with accountability for Treasury, Management Accounting and Process Improvement tasks. With key responsibility for delivering timely and accurate month-end accounting tasks and reports. You will have the opportunity to recommend and implement process improvements that will improve the overall efficiency of the Division and provide improved outcomes to the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Managing the daily cash deal, monthly cashflow and monthly treasury reporting

• Undertaking internal and treasury audits for compliance to the Treasury Management Policy

• Assisting with month-end reporting and non-financial reports

What are we looking for?

• At least 3 years general accounting experience (treasury experience an advantage)

• Demonstrated experience in improving processes and procedures

• Strong attention to detail, and accuracy

• Knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office software packages

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate

• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
