About the role

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of high performing Management Accountants. While providing a high level of financial leadership and strategies for the business, including delivering continuous improvement programs and business partnering to support the achievement of the 2030 Strategy.

You’ll provide exemplary service to our stakeholders and ensure Yarra Valley Water’s long-term financial and governance goals are met.

About you?

You bring strong leadership skills and extensive practical experience providing commercially oriented financial performance information. You have a track record in developing and delivering financial strategies, managing a large debt portfolio, working with government departments, interacting with the Board, and influencing management to achieve high quality business outcomes that meets the needs of our customers and the community. Experience in accounting software and systems implementation would be strongly regarded. The ideal candidate will have a Tertiary qualification in accounting and is CPA or CA qualified.
