Yami Hiring for Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Job at Brea, CA Full Time

Summary:
As the Manager of FP&A, you would be responsible for leading the monthly closing reviews, quarterly forecast and annual budget for the entire business, work alongside business leaders to assess the needs, identify drivers for improvement, analyze root causes of performance gaps, and redesign end-to-end processes. You will use your influencing skills to help drive and elevate performance in all cross-company initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain financial models to support the budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking of the company

• Use deep understanding of business and the technical landscape to provide holistic thinking and strategic oversight, ultimately delivering solutions that truly serve the business need

• Build future financial projections including long-range plans and support an alignment process.

• Partner with business leaders across the entire organization to develop and model key growth driver assumptions, understand the issues facing their operations, gain insight and knowledge that could affect forecasts, and perform analyses to provide data-driven insights for decision-making

• Analyze financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely recommendations and identify major risks and opportunities to management for decision making purposes

• Build the foundation of tools and processes to help the company to scale over time

• Bring new thought leadership, as appropriate, including analyzing and pushing new metrics and performance indicators to help identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Math, etc), and 4-7 years in finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Finance

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

• Credible thought leader

• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills

• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

• Bilingual, the ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin professionally is preferred.
