Xyfil Ltd Hiring for Finance Assistant – Full Time – Immediate Start Job at Preston, North West England, England Full Time

We are a Preston-based manufacturer and producer of some of the most diverse ranges of products, so there’ll never be a boring day in the office! Our range of products vary from our award winning vape e-liquids to CBD drops, with plenty more in the pipeline to come. Within this role, you’ll be working across national and international markets including the Middle East, Europe with potential to grow into more markets.

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team within the Xyfil group.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for ensuring that all invoices are raised and sent to customers daily.

· Process and allocate credit notes

· Credit control of customer accounts

· Process and allocation of sales receipts within the company accounting system

· Responsible for ensuring that all statements are raised and sent to customers bi-monthly or as required

· Timely resolution of invoicing queries from customers and liaison with the relevant team as required.

· Ensure all Sales Ledger accounts are reviewed on a regular basis and any errors or anomalies are followed up and resolved on a timely basis.

· Responsible for sending overdue letters to customers where required

· Provide support to other Finance Team members when required and as instructed by your Line Manager.

· Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualification Requirements

· Experience of working within a finance department and basic understanding of accounting processes and procedures

· Good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook and computerised accounting software

· Good communication and listening skills

· Good organisational skills used in planning own work

· Self-motivated and enthusiastic

· Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines

· Able to work in a busy office environment that often demands high levels of concentration

· Able to respond effectively to changing priorities

· Able to manage high volume workload

· Able to work effectively with minimal management guidance/supervision

· Willingness to accept responsibility

· Working knowledge of Quickbooks/Sage 50 would be a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £18,500.00-£21,000.00 per year
