What you’ll do on a typical day:
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner and Business Unit Director, you will provide an effective, pro-active and professional HR service to your business unit
Drive the people agenda in line with the business and HR Strategy, including talent management, engagement and diversity & inclusion
Support and coach managers with all people issues and all aspects of the employee life cycle, including disciplinary, grievance, and underperformance
Mentor and develop your team of two HR Managers
Lead change projects and restructures
What you need to succeed at XPO:
Experience of working in a multi-site, ideally nationally within the UK
Ideally, you will have worked in a logistics or FMCG business although this is not essential
A self-starter with the confidence to motivate people and drive positive changes
Feel at home in a fast-paced and demanding environment
The ability to work autonomously and effectively under high levels of pressure
A strong all-round HR generalist with excellent IR & ER experience
