As an Assistant Finance Manager you’ll be supporting in delivering day to day finance administration tasks – if you’re looking for a step up in your career in finance this could be the perfect role for you.

We’re looking to pay up to £30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other benefits.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• During start up you will support the Finance Manager with various tasks in relation to the creation of the team on site – no two days will be the same, we’ll offer you buckets of variety to hone your finance skills
• Day-to-day you will support the production of both financial and operational management reporting as required for the site, business and customer – there will be plenty of training for areas you lack exposure
• Administration of the Purchase Order system will be a daily task, as will financial accounting activities as requested and in line with your skills and experience
• A large part of the role will be working with the central team to coordinate the resolution of queries relating to outstanding supplier invoices, authorisation and coding of purchase orders and raising requisitions

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Experience in a similar, fast-paced finance administrative role, ideally in a similar environment
• You must be computer literate in MS Office and have some exposure to finance-related portals
• A positive attitude is a MUST – we work hard, so we need to make sure we love the environment we work in and make sure this flows throughout our workforce, do you have experience of this?
