We are very excited about the launch of our brand new location in Boston, at this new location our vision is to offer and introduce a fresh, creative and unique style/concept of japanese cusine to our community. For this new location coming soon, we are seeking a “talented and passionate” Executive Chef who is looking to take his skills and passion to the next level of culinary heights. In addition to to all of this, He/she will oversee operations and development, manage and oversee a team of chefs. The Executive Chef must harbor a strong vision, leadership, hospitality mindset, and hands on approach to the business. The Executive Sushi Chef will act not only as a culinary visionary bringing together the vision for our brand, but also act as a business partner throughout the growth process.

Extensive experience with Japanese cuisine is required.

High level Omakase experience is required.

As the Executive Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for the overall success, growth, and development of the culinary side of the business. Our company is growing quickly and we’re looking for an experienced and driven chef to help grow.

Responsibilities:

• Menu innovation
• Maintain consistent food quality standards.
• Monitor and improve consistency of food quality to enhance overall guest experience.
• Hiring, training and developing new team members
• Organize and regularly conduct food tastings.
• Ensure standards and policies are available for staff to create and maintain a safe workplace and environment.
• Identify, rectify and promptly and decisively actual and potential problems to ensure workplace and environmental safety.
• Actively encourage and support team members to participate in decision making processes to assume responsibility and authority.
• Identify best practices and determine quality and efficiency measures as benchmarks for own performance.
• Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained by proactive and not reactive approach.
• Partner with Front of House management team to facilitate daily pre-shifts with service staff.
