The successful applicant will take full ownership in the growth of this department. First of all recruiting experienced sales professionals and making the onboarding process an enjoyable experience, alongside this you will be delivering sales training and providing ongoing support/development across our Merchant services sales teams. You will be responsible for the induction of new starters, ongoing product and sales skills training, ensuring they demonstrate the enthusiasm and perseverance to overcome challenges/objections and talk about XLN with passion and pride – the right attitude and enjoy the test of closing a sale and working to targets.

Duties to include but are not exclusive to:

• Recruitment of sales professionals through a variety of different platforms
• Onboarding new starters making sure all documentation is correct and that the new employees are receiving an enjoyable process
• Deliver sales induction programmes for sales teams supporting the early development of their career.
• Acquire and maintain outstanding levels of product knowledge and industry awareness
• Working closely with our salespeople to identify challenges they face on-the-job and recommend ways to increase productivity, by means of ongoing coaching and mentoring.
• Training needs analysis across the sales teams ensuring learning and development is directly aligned to strategic goals.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous self-improvement, through means of industry awareness.
• Great stakeholder management and ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements:

• Recruitment experience at a recruitment agency or inhouse would be highly advantageous
• Confident with public speaking and in situations where you’re delivering new ideas
• An innovative approach and the desire to continuously improve
• Previous experience of working in a contact centre or sales based environment
