Primary responsibilities :

• Responsible for delivery of a software platform to deliver document management services worldwide to a diverse range of client requirements and at large scales.
• Work hands on and responsible for functions, activities, and skills required for analysis, design, coding, integration, test, debugging, and maintenance of software modules, subsystems or systems
• Set and drive the technical direction for the platform team, making good trade-offs between shipping code and technical investment.
• Build frameworks and processes (eg CI / CD) to help the team operate autonomously and deliver product features rapidly, with a focus on quality and customer value.
• Willing to jump into new business objectives and new technologies head first, while soliciting feedback for validation of these new outcomes.
• Strong ability to execute successful software features with minimum schedule impact of defects.
• Recognized as an expert in platform development and anticipates internal or external business issues and recommends solutions / best practices
• Responsible for larger, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important, international accounts and a higher than average quota / territory
• Significant impact to business domain : Failure to achieve results would have serious impact to committed business results and resources.
• Develop and Deliver software platform for significant new market opportunities on time, according to specification, with low time spent addressing defects and high adoption.
• Triage and respond to all customers found defects assigned within one day or provide daily status. Provide acceptable resolution timeframe with customer.
• Participate in customer feedback sessions. Recommend features to streamline the user experience and create cost effective solutions for customer found defects.
• Participate and feed into the overall platform goals, objectives and strategies. Uses best practices, design principle and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
• Partner with product and engineering management, influencing the product roadmap by presenting technical options and trade-offs.
• Assist in defining and meeting the hiring plan for the team, sourcing and interviewing a diverse set of candidates.
• Provides technical leadership to the team
• Ingest complex requirements and respond with solutions that are reliable, scalable, and extendable.
• Act as subject matter expert in multiple software technology domains to break down team barriers and accelerate team goals.

Secondary Responsibilities Include

• Facilitate Agile practices as Scrum master – Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Retrospective meetings
• Resource planning
• Change management policies and strategy
• Test and Delivery Strategy

Must have Expert Knowledge / Experience of : Microsoft .NET, C#, Agile, Devops, Automated Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Web Development, Software design patterns, TCP / IP, HTML, Rest API, Relational Database

Preferred Knowledge : AWS, Azure, Docker, Machine Learning, Powershell, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Angular

Qualifications :

• Required : A BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred : MS in Computer Science
• Required : 8+ years of experience as a software developer.
• Required : 1+ years of experience leading teams as a senior engineer.
• Required Expertise : Microsoft .NET, C#, Agile, Devops, Automated Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Web Development, Software design patterns, TCP / IP, HTML, Rest API, Relational Database.
