Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator

Xero Shoes is a leading manufacturer of footwear designed to facilitate natural movement and comfort. We are looking for a Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator to provide exceptional, friendly and solution-oriented interaction and service to Xero customers through social media channels. This position will also work with the marketing team to do market research, monitor review sites, and ad-hoc projects. This position is under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager and will be monitored by our contracted organic social media agency.

Principal Job Responsibilities

• Monitor Facebook groups/pages, Reddit, YouTube, blog posts, etc. for mentions of Xero Shoes brand, products, competitors and/or barefoot/minimalist shoes
• Engage with customers and potential customers to encourage them to explore Xero Shoes and natural movement
• Answer any prospect or customer inquiries via comment and/or direct message to customer support as needed
• Main social media marketing contact for assisting customer service staff
• Monitor and respond to customers on review sites like TrustPilot, Google, Yelp, Facebook, Stamped io, etc.
• Support product reviewers including reviewing submitted video content for in-market readiness, fulfilling shoe orders and insuring reviewer content is cataloged in the digital asset management platform
• Shoe orders
• Assist with research projects – market research, web audits, landing page testing, etc.
• Assist with affiliate onboarding, inquiries, and support
• Update s as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Collaborates and communicates clearly and effectively with customers and team members
• Knowledge of all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a penchant for proper grammar
• Excellent customer service skills including displaying courtesy; managing difficult customer situations; and responding promptly to customer needs
• Demonstrates acute detail recall and spectacular memory for obscure detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Unfailingly reliable and available during odd working hours (evenings and weekends)
• Ability to read, interpret and comply with company policies and policies of any online platform
• Ability to work under stress from demanding deadlines, customer contact and changing priorities and conditions
• Possess the patience of a Zen Master
• Do whatever it takes attitude

Job Type: 40 hours Full-time, benefitted.

Pay: $18 – $22 an hour
