X Corp Solutions, located in Northern VA, is a leading service provider to the U.S. government. Our clients include the Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, and Service components – notably the Program Support Services (PSS), Quantico VA. We currently have immediate openings for cleared personnel to work on-site in Stafford, VA supporting government acquisition projects at MCSC, Quantico.

General Requirements:

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying computer science, engineering, and mathematical analytical principles and techniques;
• Update and enhance existing software capabilities;
• Collaborate with other functional disciplines (e.g., project management, acquisition, logistics, security, etc.) to integrate hardware and software systems;
• Develop specifications and performance requirements;
• Maintain databases within an application area;
• Review software designs and architectures to determine their effectiveness;
• Apply a working knowledge of network architectures, computing systems, communications systems and unique hardware aspects of distributed data communications environments for testing sensors using real-time networks;

• Develop and test equipment/materials/concepts that add to the operability and usefulness of what exists;
• Support the development of equipment/systems;
• Develop plans, procedures , and tests to document emerging ideas and concepts;
• Formulate approaches to address technical issues with PEO C4I communications systems;
• Troubleshoot system behavior;
• Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders such as managers, peers, and sponsors regarding the technical aspects of systems or associated concepts.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or Business Administration;
• Active TS/SCI clearance required

Specialized Skills:

• Excellent oral and written skills;
• Excellent critical thinking skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member;
• Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties;
• Experience with applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting;
• Experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
