Horizon is a customisable suite of software and technology which helps our customers understand and communicate with their customer bases, in real time and at scale.
We provide Horizon as a turn-key managed service for our customers with supporting data analytics and business intelligence reporting.
Our customers are household name brands and amongst the biggest names in their respective sectors, covering principally Retail, Sport and Hospitality.
XCM is a UK based company with a York head office with over 30 employees located all around the UK.
Primary Purpose
As the People and Talent Manager you will be very people focused working with the XCM Leadership team to facilitate the growth of XCM people within a customer focussed culture.
This role also offers flexible working, with mutually agreed objectives based on the XCM people strategy.
The role is generally responsible for the overall management of the HR staff lifecycle, splitting around 80/20 of recruitment verses HR. This includes:
· Recruitment and Selection
· Company Inductions & On-boarding (Policy Awareness & Support)
· SMART Objectives & Performance Reviews (Facilitation)
· People related support, activities, performance, communications, social & events
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
· Lead & deliver your mutually agreed objectives aligned to the XCM strategy
· Lead all HR related primary purpose & functions on day-to-day matters
· Lead the performance management process and policy to agreed plans
· Lead the recruitment sourcing, candidate & management engagement
· Be the first line support with current legislation and best practices (legal counsel is available externally in support)
Develop
· Establish & improve the HR effectiveness & value based on objectives and agreed KPI’s
· Establish professional & consistent people related communications to external channels to agreed guidelines
· Establish identified training needs process with Management & Staff
· Establish & manage staff scheduling for business and social engagement
Experience & Qualities
· 2+ years’ experience within a HR advisory role or similar role
· CIPD qualified preferred but not essential
· Experience managing recruitment agencies, self-sourcing channels, terms & conditions & people-based systems
· Experience within a Technology or Supplier industry preferred
· Basic employment Law knowledge an advantage
· Microsoft office application experience essential
· Performance management experience
