Python Developer: Market Data Analytics

Location : London

Experience: 4-10 + years.

We are looking for a talented and experienced developer for Market data analytics team for one of our global Investment Banking Clients.

• You will be a strong Python developer joining a bank’s MDA team. You will be working within an Agile team, collating requirements, and specifications, developing strategic market data processing tool, and maintaining existing code for the MDA.

• Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, testing strategies, and implementation plans from business requirement

• Primary task would be to help the bank design and enhance the strategic market data infrastructure across LOB. Working with front office, quants and technology teams to understand requirements and perform the work.

• As the successful applicant you will be responsible for supporting modern agile software development methods, including educating & mentoring less experienced OOP team members.

• Overall the work will be flexible based on client requirements.

Master in software engineering, additional qualification in Finance is desirable, FRM, CFA again desirable

• Excellent hands-on application development experience on Python

• Exposure to risk and pricing libraries at Investment Bank, strong understanding of market data & its derived objects like Yield Curve, IR Vol surfaces, Credit Curves etc.

• Excellent Analytical skills

• Experience working on different analytical tools is desirable

• Experience on participating in end-to-end development lifecycle in a rigorous test driven software development environment

• Experience of Agile software development process is desirable

• Experience on developing and delivering scalable applications

• Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £100,000.00-£150,000.00 per year
