Overview
Molding Operator is responsible for creating quality parts produced on various machines such as but not limited to injection over molding machines and general shop equipment according to workorder specifications.
Production Process and Responsibilities
- Select and install molding tools as per work order
- Ensure equipment operates to company and industry regulation and standards
- Adjust molding process as needed
- Perform quality checks on end-product
- Monitor equipment operation and report all abnormalities to supervisor
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly as per company standards
Experience
- Ability to read and interpret workorders
- Able to read measurements
- Minimum of 1-year experience operating machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Ability to work in a team
Hours
Monday to Friday
7:00am – 3:30pm with occasional overtime
