• Provide administrative support to the Finance Transactional Services Team
• Temporary to 30 September 2023 full-time or flexible hours, Werribee based
• Salary from $70,602.48 plus super and fortnightly RDO

A bit about the role
Reporting to the Team Leader Transactional Services, this works alongside out accounting officer providing comprehensive administrative support to enhance the operational success and excellence of the transactional services team.

You will assist the team with a broad range of support tasks, including assurance around the efficiency and accuracy of Council’s financial management. You will also utilise your customer service skills to support leaders across the organisation with undertaking transactional processes to ensure healthy financial management.

What you’ll deliver

• Operational support to our transactional team
• Client support, working with leaders to support effective transactional processes
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to our accounting officers, providing accurate and efficient
• Provide guidance and support interpreting Councils internal policies and practices
• Collaborative contribution to process improvement and issue resolution programs

What you’ll bring

• General knowledge of general accounting, preferably working understanding of accounts payable and receivable
• Relevant experience in office-based administration
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and an eagerness to learn new software and programs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, being able to work with stakeholders to resolve issues
• A positive, curious, and flexible mind
