The Opportunity

WSP and Golder coming together has strengthened our capability and is enabling like-minded professionals to collaborate more easily; better leveraging technology and accessing a broader client base.

As a result of this growth, we are currently searching for a Hydrogeological Modeller to come and join our Perth team.

What you will do

• Developing Hydrogeological models and drafting technical reports.
• Providing hydrogeological technical advice to internal and external clients..
• Drive innovation in our modelling practice with new techniques, workflows and ideas.
• Review models and support groundwater modelers from within our Queensland team as well as across our mining business.

What we will love about you

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology or Geosciences.
• Typically, 3 – 5+ years of professional hydrogeological experience.
• Excellent technical report writing and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communications abilities.
• Experience with diverse range of groundwater modelling software and calibration utilities, with a background in MODFLOW (e.g. MODFLOW-USG, Flopy) preferred.
• Experience with uncertainty analysis.
• Experience using GIS and other software to visualise complex model outputs.
• Experience in coding to support pre-processing and post-processing tasks.
