What you’ll Do

We are currently looking for a motivated Project Finance Specialist to join our team on either a permanent or 12-Month Contract basis and become an integral member within the Finance team. As a Project Finance Specialist, you will have the opportunity to closely interact with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Corporate Finance whilst being part of a large peer group of likeminded professionals. You will be given the opportunity to a become master of your craft and crush your job responsibilities which include:

Act as a gatekeeper for all financial aspects related to projects

Provide efficient Project Finance/Accounting services on a day-to-day basis, working on a portfolio of projects (varying number of projects of different $ values at any given point in time)

Partner with the Project Manager and project team to create and monitor budgets, validate invoicing, project close-out, and reconciling overall project payables and receivables

Interpreting financial information on a Weekly & Monthly basis to support project management and commercial decisions whilst making project accounting recommendations throughout the Project Lifecycle

Attend project-related meetings to inform the team regarding the status of project financials, articulating problem projects and following up on any identified actions as discussed

Collaborate with our Global Business Services team to perform transactional duties on the project within the ERP

You can work autonomously and as part of a team and have proven experience (3+ years) in a similar role

You have excellent problem solving and detection skills

You can think on your feet

You have working knowledge of project accounting principles, practices, and methods and their application to project work-related issues.

Exceptional written and verbal communication is a must together with a bright, friendly, and engaging personality

You have time-management and relationship skills that will blow our minds

You are proficient with technical writing, spreadsheets, MS Excel, pivot tables, formulas, data format/sort/filter, VLOOKUP and using technology to host meetings (MS Teams)
