The Opportunity

As a result of this growth, we are currently searching for a Mid – Level Hydrogeologist to come and join our Perth office.

What you will do

• Undertake hydrogeological assessments including the interpretation of data, site investigation planning and coordination, conceptualisation and reporting.
• Provide high quality technical capability and ability to successfully manage and contribute to projects with a hydrogeological focus.
• Potential to undertake limited field work.
• Build and strengthen client relationships.
• Provide technical experience and expertise in groundwater investigations, management and impact assessment.
• Assist in developing groundwater models and drafting technical reports.
• Drive innovation in our modelling practice with new techniques, workflows and ideas.
• Assist in reviewing models and support groundwater modelers from within our Perth team as well as across our mining business.

What we will love about you

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geosciences.
• Typically 1 – 3 years of professional hydrogeological experience.
• Excellent technical report writing and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communications abilities.
• Experience with diverse range of groundwater modelling software and calibration utilities, with a background in MODFLOW or FEFLOW preferred.
• Experience with uncertainty analysis.
• Experience using GIS and other software to visualise complex model outputs.
