A Fort Lauderdale based yacht management company is recruiting for a handyman / shipping logistics team member.

The selected candidate will have a dual role as a member of our fleet logistics team combined with office maintenance duties. Responsibilities include general logistical support to our fleet; shipping and receiving; general office upkeep, routine maintenance, and repairs.

Requirements:

1. Logistics role:

a. Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

b. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

c. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

d. Organized with strong attention to detail.

2. Handyman role:

a. Ability to multi-task.

b. Ability to lift heavy boxes and objects.

c. Ability to make small repairs and to safely work with tools and power equipment.

The starting salary for this non-exempt position is $20.00 hourly. Normal work hours are 8:00 am to 4:40 pm, Monday through Friday.
