About The Role

Wren has always been a market leader when it comes to web presence. We have expanded on this by offering a mobile application that allows customers to track the progress of their order, make payments and sign documentation. We also have a number of in-house iOS apps that enhance our customer’s experience.

As Wren continues it’s rapid growth in 2022, we are looking for an established software tester, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will be essential in the continuous delivery of the website and mobile application ensuring the design and functional requirements set by the business are met. You will also have the opportunity to recommend quality improvements to the software we develop. The following disciplines will be common in the day to day:

  • Website – cross browser testing
  • Device testing
  • API testing of back-end work
  • Regression testing
  • Localisation testing
  • Test tool investigation
Main responsibilities:
  • Finding, reproducing and reporting issues
  • Providing clear analysis and detailed feedback through clear and concise reporting
  • Creation and execution of test cases
  • Identification of problems and suggest solutions / remedial actions / workarounds

About You


Essential:
  • Effective communication of testing plans / progress, both verbally and in writing
  • Capability to develop strong working relationships both internal and external
  • Analysis of information to identify problems and issues, making effective decisions
  • Ability to plan and organise workload efficiently, working to deadlines
Nice To Have (but don’t worry, we will teach you) :
  • ISEB Certified Software Tester (Foundation)
  • Experience of ticketing systems (JIRA specifically beneficial)
  • Agile Testing Methodology awareness
  • Iterative software development awareness
  • Knowledge of Website and/or mobile application testing
