YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

At VMLY&R, we believe that our employees are our most valuable asset. As an Entry-Level People Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the shared success of the People team. Providing day to day administrative support across the full employee lifecycle and to ensure HR operational processes and procedures are developed, implemented, and carried out in accordance with our people strategy, relevant policies, and current legislation.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist with the onboarding process of new hires, including paperwork completion, coordinating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Maintain and update the HR files, ensuring the files are current and accurate.
• Assist and support the People Business Partner and CPO on a day-to-day basis, including the preparation of employment agreements and variation letters.
• Build strong and enduring client relationships, including trusted partnerships with the People community across the group.
• Promote open, collaborative, supportive and dynamic relationships throughout the group.

Experience

• No HR experience necessary (but preferable)
• Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proactive with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach able to work with a broad range of people from varying backgrounds.
• Ability to adopt a hands-on approach to problem solving and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Passion for all things people and eager to learn
