WP Recruitment Looking for Highways Operatives at Newport, Isle of Wight Full Time

Industry: Civil Engineering

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 40 hours per week, 7.30am – 4.30pm

Days: Monday – Friday

Duration: Temporary, ongoing

Duties:

Groundworks and civil engineering duties including: drainage, concreting, kerbing/bricklaying and tarmacking.

Operation of machinery and hand tools.

Manual handling and driving.

Adherence to technical specifications, quality and health and safety standards.

Experience:

Must have good level of previous groundworks experience, civil engineering preferred and a full driver’s licence, 7.5 tonne (C1)driving licence preferred.  Must be physically fit, due to the nature of the duties and work well to instruction and as part of a team.

Salary: £10.50 per hour worked PAYE, overtime paid at 1.5
