APAC Infrastructure Delivery Manager

Within the Advanced Infrastructure Team, the APAC Infrastructure Delivery Manager reports to the Global DELIVERY MANAGER of Infrastructure. The APAC Infrastructure Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the delivery efforts of all AIS Worldline infrastructure teams in APAC, a be a support for EMEA deliveries.

The transversal infrastructure projects under his/her oversight will drive a continuation of the Datacentre, Network, Operating System and Automation stacks of our existing EMEA PASS (Platform as a Service) operating model. To implement this PAAS approach, the APAC Infrastructure Delivery Manager will drive technical teams, document the agreed architectures and liaise with the vendors where needed.

You are ultimately responsible for delivering his projects within the agreed timeframe within the quality standards in terms of documentation and best practices, regardless of the datacentre location or the implementing team, ensuring consistency and predictability in the deliveries.

What you will do:

• Weekly Report to the Global DELIVERY MANAGER, EMEA based
• Define and document datacentre and infrastructure standards
• Enforce said standards consistently across all teams (internally) and all third parties (vendors, customers…)
• Follow transversal transformation projects for Infrastructure for which you will be accountable of the delivery and progress
• Raise quality issues or documentation gaps to implementing teams for correction and escalate to the Management if required
• Liaise with third party vendors when needed and act as a technical bridge between them and local teams
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Infrastructure Management Team on all infrastructure related topics
• Provide a vision and guidance in case of uncertainty regarding any infrastructure topic
• Adopt a cost avoidance and cost-conscious approach, especially on OPEX spending
• Ensure consolidation efforts are leveraged for OPEX reduction

Who you are:

• Team spirit that could enforce yours and your colleague’s works over wide scope of international team
• Focused, organized and delivery oriented with a wide experience in datacentre and infrastructure topics forged after 10 years or more in a similar position
• Able to “think ahead” and anticipate common infrastructure problems. Expose the risks to management and suggest mitigation techniques or approaches
• Pragmatic and analytical
• Able to prioritize ruthlessly
• Able to create trust with remote teams by upholding all commitments and deadlines
• Able to factor in your thinking and road-map multiple technical constraints and conflicting problems.
• Familiar with ITIL process (ideally certified)
• Fluent in English, other European languages are a plus
• Based in Sydney Area, with possibility to travel occasionally to France for training
