We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Talent team in Manchester as a Talent Acquisition Manager. The role has a dual focus; You’ll be partnering with leadership across Momentum in the UK to develop a talent acquisition strategy that ensures we attract the best talent to the agency, whilst actively recruiting for a key discipline across several of our agencies including Momentum and McCann Manchester.

Here’s what you’ll do as Talent Acquisition Manager
Role & Responsibilities
Build and foster rapport with teams through the understanding of the agency and culture.
Own your roles. Be the first point of contact for our Momentum and McCann Manchester colleagues, candidates and potential candidates.
Collaborate with the McCann Manchester Talent Acquisition team in Manchester, briefing in roles as required and playing an integral role in cross-agency initiatives.
Screen, connect and keep in touch with world-class agency talent, building relationships with candidates across both UK offices.
Ensure candidate experience is key and take the lead on identifying ways to constantly improve this – be approachable, diligent, and enthused by our candidates having wonderful experiences with Momentum and McCann, regardless of their outcome.
Move beyond recruitment by numbers and into a modern, effective way to attract and engage world-class talent, to build a pipeline for the agency.
Help to embed our D,E&I strategy and tools to the agency. You’ll understand the importance of diversity, bias, the law in interviewing, and work to influence and progress the agency into the future of talent.
Communication is vital – be a clear and deliberate communicator to people at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
Be a coach, and an advisor to hiring managers, helping them understand the importance of the function without succumbing to blame or change resistance.
Flex your approach to be able to work with both the team and independently, on your own initiative.
Support the Talent team on new projects which will include D,E&I, interview training, process streamlining and the roll out of a new global ATS.
Here’s what we’re looking for
Proven experience recruiting within the Marketing Communications sector, including one or more of our core agency disciplines; Creative, Production, Account Management or Digital Marketing. This could be within an internal Talent Acquisition team, RPO or recruitment consultancy.
Experience recruiting at a high volume previously including some knowledge around the freelance process and IR35
A track record recruiting at a senior level and the ability to tailor your approach to the individual brief
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
Be personable and a confident communicator across all levels of seniority, knowing how and when to adapt your language to suit
Used to developing pipe-lines for hiring, not always reverting to job ads
Exceptional LinkedIn Recruiter skills
