IT Support Analyst, McCann WorldGroup – London

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global media company as an IT Support Analyst based in our flagship London Office in Bishopsgate. You will build on your existing IT knowledge and take on the responsibility of providing excellent 1st line and 2nd line IT support to users of all levels. The successful candidate will be able to further their career in IT whilst working with cutting edge tech for a major player in the media world. Advertising is a fast-paced industry where downtime is critical and projects can change significantly overnight – we ask that you come prepared to adapt to new challenges.

Your role as IT Support Analyst in brief

This role will be working in an IT Services team supporting 1000 users within the London HQ building, including McCann London and our sister agencies, McCann EMEA HQ, McCann Enterprise, McCann Healthcare, MRM, Momentum and Craft. Working as part of a team, you’ll be providing 1st and 2nd line technical support employees across these agencies. The day to day activities as IT Support Analyst are varied but will include:

• Responsibility for 1st and 2nd line support queries, problems and incidents, utilising all available support materials and expertise to successfully restore systems to full working order.

• Responsible for accurate call logging on the Zendesk Helpdesk system

• Solve issues promptly, politely and efficiently

• Fielding Helpdesk support queries, problems and incidents

• Account creation (Moves, Additions, Changes)

• Physical Desk and Equipment moves

• Compliance Tasks (Keeping our users security compliant)

• Remote support of staff computers: Troubleshooting and Problem Solving

• Remote installation of software, updates, bug fixes and patches etc.

• Administrative tasks such as creating lists of users/tasks/problems

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager from time to time.

What we’re looking for – IT Support Analyst:

We’re looking for a first class communicator who can explain complex technical information in an engaging manner, whilst providing excellent service levels. You’ll be able to work well under pressure and deadlines with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving and meticulous attention to detail. In addition to experience providing first line support within a busy IT team. you’ll be able to demonstrate the following technical experience:

• Working knowledge of Mac and PC hardware, software and OS

• Knowledge of Windows Server and Adobe Creative Cloud

• IT Security and Data Protection

• Knowledge of iPhones and iPads and other smartphones and tablets

• Scripting or coding a bonus
