WORK EPXERIENCE/JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 10 years industry experience in brokerage placement, carrier underwriting, and carrier relationship management role; or in combination
Complete and thorough understanding of the insurance broker’s sales, service, and placement process
Strong ability to influence and negotiate with trading partner peers, and achieve optimal outcomes for clients and prospective clients
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong understanding of World expertise, structure, distribution strategy, and value proposition
Remain current and up to date of the diverse characteristics of the global insurance industry marketplace including:
Promote utilization of World resources and strategic trading partners
Placement of new and renewal middle market and large account business as defined by the Placement Division
Commitment to working in a collaborative environment amongst cross-functional teams
Establish program design recommendations and articulate suggested placement strategies in conjunction with the Client Advisor and/or Account Executive
Assist with the preparate of submissions and applications required by the underwriting community
Direct submissions to the appropriate trading partners and negotiate best in class coverage terms, conditions, capacity, and cost
Prepare coverage comparisons based upon quotations and proposals received from underwriters
Participate in pre-renewal and proposal meetings with clients and prospective clients as needed or upon request by the Client Advisor and/or Account Executive
Assist with placement and insurance program aspects of stewardship s where required
Maintain focus on World-authorized workflow and standard operating procedures to support consistency across the World enterprise

Collaborate with Practice Leaders, Division Leaders, and Division Growth & Service Leaders to ensure Placement objectives are in accordance with World corporate objectives
Stay aligned with customer acquisition strategies to ensure Placement activity effectively supports growth initiatives
Support and embed World workflow processes and procedures
Represent World brand to the global marketplace in a professional manner
Identify creative ways to work more efficiently with our key trading partners
Identify and maintain close relationships with World’s key trading partners decision-makers at regional management level
Encourage other associates to align with World initiatives, values, and principles
Confident to challenges those whose behavior’s conflict with World values and principles
COMPUTER SOFTWARE SKILLS
Proficient in all Microsoft office products
Mid-level expertise with excel
PROFESSIONAL LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Preferred insurance designation such as ARM or CPCU
Licensed Property & Casualty insurance producer in resident state
EDUCATION
4-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional designation
