About This Role:

UWL, a World Group company, is currently looking for a detail oriented and client driven person to join our family as an Export Client Logistics Specialist for our growing offices in Chicago, Ill!

The Export Client Logistics Specialist manages the coordination of customer shipments by working with our pricing team to secure rates and capacity with qualified carriers/partners. Does this sound like you or fit your experience? Get in touch with us by applying here.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track and Trace shipments.
• Prepare, handle, and process documentation- including house and master air waybills, commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.

• Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.

• Dispatch freight with UWL, Inc approved vendors.

• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, other UWL, Inc offices, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and in person.

• Accurate and timely client billing.

• Contribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships- airlines, trucking companies, and others.

• Always maintain compliance standards- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.

• Meet key performance indicators to support department, branch, product, and company goals.

• Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency.

Education and Experience:

• +5 Years Air Export Experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, however equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Advanced Knowledge of airline, trucking and international routings, restrictions, and specifications
• Effective interpersonal skills- including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical.
• Proficient computer skills- solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• CargoWise User preferred, but not required.
• Desire for a career in supply chain/logistics.
